Now that Microsoft has given their Keynote at E3, how well do you think they did? What were somethings you are excited about, and others you don't care about?

I personally think the whole Twitter and Facebook on 360 is not that great. When I play my 360 it is to play games, not to update my Twitter page. I mean, does the whole world really need to know that MajorNelson just pwned Trixie360 in Halo? Yes, it does add to the social/casual gamer that Microsoft is trying to capture, but without a real keyboard, it is going to fail, imo.

Over all seems like Microsoft has announced all the rumors that we heard up until this point.

Doesn't hurt us, so why not?

Is it necessary? Maybe not, but free doesn't hurt.

It is true that we don't pay for those service, but it doesn't mean that they increase the value of XBL. Those are additional services which really don't effect gaming. For example, how many times has anyone here used their Netflix streaming feature? I can say that personally I haven't used it at all. I won't be using the Twitter and Facebook features either.

they're adding it because the line between Silver and Gold is becoming thinner and thinner. That's why events like The 1v100 beta are 1 of the few things separating the two. Silvers can play online as long as its not ranked.

There are some games that you can play online without a Gold account, there are even free weekends where you can play without a Gold account.

if only they really did that, id probably get my xbox back. i dont give a fuck about ranked unless it affects unlockables.

anyways crackdown 2 looks cool, the trailer showed a monster in the shadow. and its being developed by someone else.
