Arrow Mile High Club Guide

MILE HIGH CLUB GUIDE

KEY:
Blue Line = Your path
Red Dots = Enemies
Green Numbers = Points
Black Line = Wall/seats etc
(Start) = This is the area you arrive into the room from
(Finish) = This is the area you exit the room from

TIPS:
  • Always use the MP5, do not be tempted to swap for another primary weapon or to your pistol - this will only waste valuable time. If you are out of ammo, knife them.
  • Even if you are flashed you can still move on, hopefully your sight won't be too damaged if you have followed the instructions.
  • Quite a few enemies go into last stand, try not to worry about these if you are sprinting past them, but do be careful if you have no intention of going past them yet.
  • Also a few enemies (like the first guy in the toilet) will spray their gun as they die which can damage you quite a lot. To avoid this sprint quickly away from him or stand back a bit.
  • Always sprint when moving freely.
  • A lot of this level involves luck, where your flash bang lands, which enemy is where and if the enemy goes to last stand or not.

This is perhaps the hardest level in Call of Duty 4, espicially on veteran where the difficulty doesn't just make bullets from the enemy more powerful but the time limit is also reduced to just 59 seconds!

This is, IMO, the easiest method of doing this level. (Sorry about the poor MS Paint skills I have :p )

SECTION ONE:

(Finish)

(Start)

As you start the level you need to sprint forward to guy the guy that is coming out of the toilets, stab him.

This second area is the argueably the hardest part of the level as you are left very open and vulnerable with very limited cover. As you can see there are two enemies at the end of the corridor, the best way to take cover from both of these is to take advantage of the curve in the wall, as shown in the picture.

Run through the left room (not the right corridor) whilst moving fowards, kill the guy at the end. When you get about half way the guy should be killed, at this point bring out your flash and aim it to land at point '1'. Hide between the door and the wall at point '2' to avoid the flash.

Then run into the room with the dazzled enemys and kill as many as you can before you either take damage or run out of ammo. When you do run out of ammo, hide at point '3' reload and move on down the left still.

OUT OF THIS ROOM BY .40 SEC REMAINING.

SECTION TWO:

(Finish)

(Start)

As you run out of section one you'll find yourself in a mini room with a guy on your right and left side. The one on the right always seems better than the one on the left so shoot and kill him first. By then your allys should of killed the guy on the left.

As soon as you run into the next room throw a flash bang (aiming for the sqaure row of seats just behind point '3'.) Then run to the first row of seats on your left (point '1') and reload and recover any damage.

Sprint to point '2' which will cause your allys to move forward. Your allys and the break in the planes wall will kill most enemies here. However, around 3-4 fresh enemies will come down the stairs at point '3' - hopefully your allys will get most of these and you can just pick up the pieces. (Note: It is important to be patient to allow your allys to kill them, try not to move on too heavily until around .26.5 sec remaining, though I believe it is important to move slightly forward past point '2' to make sure your allys do move on. You can still take cover behind the square row of seats in the middle.)

GET UP STAIRS BY .25 SEC REMAINING

SECTION THREE:

(Start)

(Finish)

Run up the stairs and head for your left again. As you reach point '1' chuck another flash bang into the doorway just meters ahead of you, at point '2' take cover to reload and avoid the flash. There will be around 2-3 enemies in the same room as you, they will still be dazzled and be easy to drill down. Be careful of the enemies to the right side of the room (allys should clear them up quickly). Sprint to the doorway.

By now you should have about .20 SEC REMAINING. There will be a few enemies taking cover behind the wall, you can shoot through this easily. Get through the doorway and check no-one else is taking cover by this wall. Any other enemies will run into the room ahead. Run to point '4' and you'll find yourself 3 (I think) extra flash bangs. Hopefully you'll have about .14 SEC REMAINING. If this is the case you have enough time to pick the flash bangs up (just look at them) and launch about 2 (maybe 3) into the room ahead of you. Run down point '5' after reloading.

OUT OF ROOM BY .13 SEC REMAINING

SECTION FOUR:

(Start)

(Finish)

All the helpless enemies will be dazzled by the flash bang so freely run down at point '1'. There is, however, one enemy who rarely gets flashed at point '2'. Don't stop and kill him just make sure you have enough energy to sprint pass him.

You may need to kill a few enemies running down this corridor near point '3', (this isn't too difficult as they will be one behind each other) espicially the guy hiding in point '3' who will be waiting for you to pass. DO NOT FORGET THIS GUY! As you turn down this corner two more enemies with shotguns will approach you (at point '4') be ready to kill them with your MP5 (if you are out of ammo skillfully knife them, do not swap to your pistol).

Finally get a headshot on the terrorist, be careful and calm - you have two chances to kill him. Once right at the start of the countdown and once right at the end of the countdown.

Jump out of the plane.

Good luck.

I put this on another forum and just copied and pasted it for you guys! Hope it helps.

That is Not what I did, but I already have it.

Also, Jumping when you reach hostage helps a lot. It gives you a better shot at the Terrorist's head.

Also, it says in the guide that at .25 Seconds Remaining, You should be at the stairs. Well, by .25 Seconds remaining you should have already shot the terrorist. I don't see how you can run from The stairs to the hostage in just 1/4th ov a second :p

I might try this again. I've gotten to the end part so many times but just never shot him in the face. Got annoying and i gave up.

I tend to shoot the terrorist in the leg, he still dies, and it is a less risk at shooting the hostage.

You clearly haven't tried.

If you shoot him in an area that is not the head, it stops and says 'Real Heros go for the head' or something similar. then you have to try the whole mission again.

I had to find that out the hard way...

the lower difficulties dont need a head shot, for veteran a headshot is required.

Flash and go. If you stop and shoot you'll run out of time.

Well, I mean you gotta be constantly moving. You can't sit still aim and kill like five seconds.

I finished this ages ago. You just have to memorize where the enemies are at certain times, the rest is easy.
