![]() ![]() Publisher: Activision Developer: Beenox Release Date: October 30, 2007 Decription: Based on the upcoming DreamWorks Animation movie written, produced by, and starring Jerry Seinfeld, Bee Movie™ Game allows players to race, chase, fly and blast their way through the adrenaline-fueled world from the feature film and beyond. As the witty and courageous Barry B. Benson, gamers are propelled on an exciting adventure to save the bees' production of honey. Bee Movie™ Game features over 15 levels, addictive multiplayer mini-games, compelling side quests, plus a wide variety of never-before-seen content co-created by DreamWorks Animation and Activision exclusively for the game. (description from Ebgames.com) The Critics 70- IGN __________________________________________ "For all the blah, repetitive mini-game jobs and the slightly weak overall presentation, Bee Movie Game holds up surprisingly well. It's definitely better than most licensed games ought to be, but your mileage with the game will largely come down to how obsessive you are about finding hidden trinkets in the exploration levels and how much you like zipping slowly around giant-sized everyday locales." » Read Full Review 68- Teamxbox __________________________________________ "So, while the Bee Game Movie doesn’t really ever do a lot to stand out from the rest of the video-game fare, as far as movie-based games go, it’s actually not that bad. If you enjoyed the movie, there’s definitely going to be at least a little something for you to enjoy in the game. A solid presentation and decent gameplay mechanics make this a good title for the kids—and for the kids at heart." » Read Full Review 50- Games Radar __________________________________________ "Bee Movie Game stings itself in the foot by forcefully inserting minigames into the campaign, as players must complete jobs between missions to advance the storyline. It extends the otherwise four-hour campaign into the seven or eight hour range, but kills any momentum the narrative might have had. We don't mind messing around with the extra content, but give us a say in the matter - don't force us to play the minigames to expand the already-uninspiring campaign. It's sloppy game design, and it drags Bee Movie Game even further into the mud." » Read Full Review __________________________________________ To learn more about "The Critics" section visit: The Critics Explanation For indexes of all the games covered in The Critics area, visit: Index by Title or Index by Score
