I would have to guess that it's going to be Dom, or it will be these 3, Anya, Hoffman and Prescott. I say this because if those 3 die, than Marcus is incharge of the COG, and if Dom dies, than Marcus will keep on fighting because he will avenge his friend, but I say Dom dies because *spoilers* his wife will be the Locust Queen, I can suspect, and he will be overtaken by this, that he will want to be taken by her so he can finally rejoin her because he lost her when the war first started out.

IF ANYONE HAS THE NEW GEARS OF WAR THEME THEN YOU CAN SEE THAT MARCUS IS HOLDING 3 DOG TAGS, MEANING THAT 3 CLOSE PEOPLE PROBABLY DIED AND YOU DONT SEE DOM IN THE PICTURE!

I don't know about Dom because what RedLine said makes sense up till the Locust Queen part then he loses me.

I believe Hoffman is a very possible person to die; however I won't commit because they killed the one guy in the first one (can't remember his name) and I hope they won't do the same thing again in GoW2

Anya is a very good possibility as well. I can see a rescue Anya mission and she ends up dying via beserker or something of the like.

In Gears you collect the COG tags of the dead soldiers, the picture could mean Marcus is holding the tags of one of the team that died, showing respect by collecting them or whatever. Every Gear has their own COG tag.

Marcus, Baird, Cole, & Hoffman survive everyone else dead, thats my prediction.

If you watch the new trailer about 'having a rendezous'... you see Dom lying on the ground like he's dying. Marcus picks up Dom's gun and walks past him to go kick ass and help Baird and Cole. I could definitely see Dom dying.
