the thing is before the game came out i rad something that said that when u do a crime and a citizen views u doing it then they can run to a cop and tell them ...then there on ur ass

Yeah .. that is realistic but a cop being at every corner of every block isn't realistic. If they call the cops, it'd take time for the cops to get there. The fact is theres way to many cops, and thats where i think they messed up.

Besides... everyone here can get away from the cops. The points is that we shouldn't have to as frequently as we do. It's poor game design.

I don't understand what is so bad about cops on every corner...I mean, this is a GTA world and not our world. There are reasons why Rockstar didn't copy New York exactly as it is into the game. Maybe there are just a lot of cops in Liberty City! Can't have too much national security, you know.

And plus, if someone else sees you commit a crime, they can call 911 and then police will be on you, even if they weren't there.

^Yes they will be on you, but they wont be on you within a second of when you did the crime. Thats what i find not "realistic".

Well, you do find out in the game, that they are high alert for terrorist attacks, and that they have a very high threat level currently inplace. They can't take any chances ...

Cops aren't really problem.In Times Square in real life there are cops everywhere.


But I think it makes the game more fun.Unlike in the Past GTA's where you could kill 20 people and have only two stars on you.It's more realistic.If I went and shot somebody outside in the city the cops would be there quickly.

if you kill 20 people all you get are 2 stars. if you kill a cop or cause an explosion that can get your 3 or more. i think its retarded, gta was all about killing people, and not having to worry about getting in too much trouble. its not even fun with that many cops.

earlier today i was trying to get the "finish him" achievement, and it was ****in hard to because of the damn cops. if you punch someone then you'll get a 1 star wanted level. you can do 1 of 4 things

1. run away and give up the achievment
2. kill the cops, and keep at the achievement untill more backup arrives keeping in mind your trying to kill the cops and kick some dudes ass to get the achievement
3. you die from the cops and loose 1000 dollars at the hospital and try again
4. accept arrest and loose your weapons.

this happened to me like 40 times untill i finally got it.

if the cops dont annoy you, try getting this achievement. and then the ****in cops will annoy you.

if you get it without any problems from the cops then your a lucky muther****er.

I can understand the frustration of cops; however, I don't let them bother me. I am pretty good at losing them and just doing things a little different the next time. I have not really had that much trouble with the cops, though, so I guess that is why I am not too irritated yet.

It's really not that hard anymore. You see the end of the circle on your map, drive right outside of it. Sit there for about 5-10 seconds and your gold. Even if they are near you the circle wont move and you will lose them. In Gravity's way of saying it, cake.

Has anyone gotten a 6 star warning?

I have its easy to do in the early part of the game before you get to Algonquin. If you drive under the main bridge you get instant 6stars as soon as you cross the barricade above. for the achievement I just ran in circles with armor killing any cops or NOOSE that shot at me.
