Do you think that there may one day be a game where you can go to Vice City, Liberty City, and San Andreas all at once? I know that it would have to be an incredibly massive game, but do you think that it may happen one day?

Id like to see a futuristic GTA one day, but they need something to base it off and we are not quite into the "hovercar" future yet.

yep. probably by 2012 maybe. the next gta. they'd have to use bluray though.

what im looking foward to is a gta game where you can do absolutely ANYTHING. and it has everyone and everything, in the world. recreated from satilite data, and trillions of photography, with photorealistic (actually real looking) graphics. and everything in the world happening at once, realtime everything. with 1 load. you can even take rockets into space all the way to the moon and as far as science has knowledge on the universe.

this game would probably be the final installment in the gta series. but for anything to be that immense, it would take decades to make a game like that. the size of the game would be enormous; a petabyte in size or even larger. and as for processing and computing, quantum nano computers would have to be used, using petahert processing, and a gamma ray optical player or something.

a game like that would be a long way off, probably not even in our lifetime.

Anyway, as much as i would love to play a GTA where you could go to all 3 of those places. I really don't think it would happen. Like Steveo said, the size of the game would be huge, and it would be very time consuming to recreate all 3 cities for one game. Look how long GTA 4 took.

I would think they would start to remake the older citys as well.

Maybe they will revisit GTA: London. The biggest issue I have is that Liberty City should have a similar layout in future installments. It would be cool to see some of the similar spots but changed, like a new skyscraper in certain places, or places more ran down the the current installment. Something like that would be cool.

Or they can finish the contruction going on in the city, like that bridge and Cluk'n Bells under construction.

Yea that would be cool, set as if you are just coming back to a city that you use to know well. Some of the side streets (maybe even some main streets) be changed around because of new construction. To make the city feel "alive" and people are actually living there, and making changes.
