I borrowed this game from a friend and its actually the first GTA game I've ever played. I'm kinda clueless on what to do or where to go. Any help would be appreciated and also if you can offer any tips that'd be great, too...

Go to your map and look at the legend, you can see the names of people that you need to go to. Hope this helps.

wow at the bolded part. but anyways just look at your map by pressing start, and a. you can zoom in on the map by pressing rt and lt. while in the map you set waypoints by pressing a wherever.

icons that are white with a black circle around them are places you can go, that dont involve missions, such as gun shops, food stores, clothing stores, and safehouses.

other icons that dont have a black circle around them are mission points. you go there to start missions. there are alot.


that should be enough to get you started. as long as you follow the onscree instructions it should tell you more on how to play. after you finish the first island it should be pretty easy to get around, and play.

Two Questions

How do I use a public phone booth? I found one but nothing happens. I need it to do more missions or something...there's a text message I got that says use a booth

How do I make stuff happen with prostitutes? What do I do after they're in the car? I confused...

I don't know about your first question but for the second one, all you have to do is drive her to a place where no one can see you. Maybe in an alley between buildings, or behind buildings, or in a park where there are trees everywhere. Then she will offer you a few deals ..

wow, ive never gotten a txt to use a phone booth, and ive had this game since its release. cant help you out.

The assassin missions are done via a phone booth. They will give you a weapon behind the phone booth, and will tell you to go kill a certain person. To use the phone booth you just walk up to it. Just like you do all the other missions in the game.
