I'm trying to get the One Man Army achievement.

How do you get up to 6 star wanted level? I'm going on crime sprees blowing up police vehicles, killing citizens, jacking cars, and I can only get up to 4 stars...How do I get 6?

Don't even try it while you're in a car trying to drive away, i don't even know if that's possible. What i did was (before i unlocked the 3rd island) i stole a helicopter and flew a helicopter over it, that automatically gives you 6 stars and i just flew around for 5 minutes or however long it was. I'm sure there are other ways though, look it up in YouTube.

what i did was, drive into a very small alley (near star junction and construction areas). and i took cover, stocked up on weapons big time, and just drew the cops to my alley but not too close, and eventually i got 6 stars.

and if you dont have alot of money just spend it all on weapons, and when you get the achievement dont save. since achievemets are saved on your profile and not your game save.

I did something similar to Iceman, in that I went to an island that I had not unlocked yet, and just stole a "SWAT" truck and drove around for 5 min.

You have to be a badass.

Or go to the airport grab a helicopter and blow **** up

You can try what Shisnopi said. Get a helicopter and blow up a ton of stuff with it until you get 6 stars and then keep doing it? I'm not sure on how else you would get it, cops are very strict in this game and they are EVERYWHERE.

Got the achievement. I just restarted and went past a blockade and yeah...6 stars is intense! Thanks for the help guys.

Nope, right after I got it, the truck blow up. The trucks have a large HP, so that made it a lot easier.

Some dude I saw on YouTube just holed out in a hospital and got six stars.
