Ok so I rented GH: Aerosmith honestly to play only two songs on it (Dream On and Walk This Way), and I can say I'm glad I rented it. First off, the difficulty is really easy compared to both GH2 and 3. I'm on the 4th set (out of 6) on hard and haven't gotten anything lower than 5 stars. The achievements are LOLable (seriously one achievement is play a song as Izzy Sparks WTF?), and honestly it's boring to play.

Career difficulty achievements are stackable now

Easily gets boring to play
Achievements are a joke
All the outfits and styles for original characters seem like a waste of money since you mostly play as Aerosmith

Yeah, I think GH just copied Rock Band for GH 4...

It's like taking somebodies car and painting it black, with your name on it. It's still got the oddities that make it recognizable to the original owner, with some new touches on it.

Some of the sounds they used were off of actual songs.

I just want to see comparison videos pop up online as soon as Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero 4 are both out.

There are videos of both games on IGN.
Guitar hero looks terrible graphics wise and they look as if they're putting more notes on the drum charts than they should.

I don't really get why people would complain about graphics in a game like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. You're playing the notes, so you really shouldn't be worrying about what the band members look like, the audience etc. It's different for a game when you're looking at the characters/environment every second of the game, but in this you're just playing the notes.
