As a old School gamer since maybe 10 years old playing SW: Dark Forces in DOS. (lol) The main game I played in High school was Unreal Tournament. Well what got me into this game was the first Unreal game which had a little mode besides the really long SP mode was called "Bot Match" I think this form of Unreal brought us a good prospect on Multilayer gaming over the internet. The more people started playing it the more it grew in the community. Then about 4 years later they made Unreal Tournament. Well that game was a classic and had alot of fun with it. Unreal 3 is a mix between what they have been after Unreal Tournament. Evey mod and every character was building up to this game. From Unreal Championship, Unreal 2003 (PC) Unreal 2004 (PC) and Unreal Championship 2 they were testing out the ideas they had and perfected them into their next installment: Unreal Tournament 3.

Game Play

Imagine you are in the Gears of War world. First person view, game speed increased by 25%, massive maps with great atmosphere unique in its own way, mixed in with 16 other people over Xbox live running around destroying the other team's objective which is either CTF or Warfare (Cores) with vehicles sky or land. Epic warfare at its best.
If you played any of the last installments you would find yourself in familiar territory with this game. Fast pace, massive gore, curd language and many ways to destroy your apposition. If you like fast pace twitchy shooter like COD4 or Halo 3 this is your lore. Its history gives it the feel of classic as the older installments.

Graphics

The Graphics are amazing in this game. With a Gears of War look mixed in the Unreal Tournament world, its a hit. As I said before each map is different a few of them are in space sure but never the same. The atmosphere of each map the graphics in this game will transport you into the game with life like gravity and movement of planets and asteroids in the back ground. I could go on and on you I hope there is a demo out soon so you can see how great this game is IMO of course lol.

Over live

This is one of the best shooters IMO over Xbox live. I acutely stopped playing Halo 3 to play this great shooter. I only played one match but I had so much fun. Even though we lost 49 to 50 it was a tight race all threw the game matching kill for kill. This game will bring out the true skill in your inner gamer. The reason for this IMO again lol the weapon balance is much more improved then other games I have played like Halo. Now Halo 3 they did fix most of their problems but you still have the AR and Neddler issues but you can work around that. Now for Halo 2 was horrible, I had fun playing with the game but not as much as I could with UT3. The achievements in this game makes you play ALOT of Live so I hope you have some gaming time in later times lol.

My score is 8.5/10

If this is your first time playing this game then rent it to see if its your kind of game. If you are a old school gamer like me its worth going out and buying it. You will have a Unreal Tournament game over Xbox live. You can't past on two good things in one can you? Well I'm off playing more UT 3, see you on the flip side!

Why not Brave, GoW runs on the Unreal 3 engine. So they have the same engine, you can make a better comparison between the two.

Great review Marauder. This is my first time playing an Unreal game. I've watched many videos of all the other Unreal games but since i was never into computer games, i never played them. Being my first time playing, it's awesome i must say. I love the fast pace of this game and there are quite a few weapons to choose from. But yeah, i would basically say everything Marauder has got down. Also the Co-op is very fun when playing with friends, i did like 10 missions with my friend today. We should play sometime Marauder, and the Leaderboards are set up great as well.

Unreal 3 is epic fun. Although I'm disapointed in the shortage of weapons (there's more vehicles than weapons...seriously) the game kicks ass. Great that it has bots so non-xbox livers like me can keep playing. IMO, Unreal is the only game that has a true futuristic feeling to it...and there's so many maps!
