I find the drums to still be extremely difficult even on the easy and medium settings for many of the songs
and this is while the guitar and bass for easy and medium are extremely easy...

Yeah, they want you to play the drums and get good at them. You just need to practice more, i used to suck horribly when i first started playing. I'm actually getting used to it now, it just takes time. And the foot petal ALWAYS messes me up, it's ridiculous how much it's in there, but what are you going to do? It's part of the game, just gotta practice more.

I actually think playing on the guitar is more fun in Guitar Hero. Then again, i'm still playing on medium...but it seemed from what i have played of GHIII that you get more interaction when playing, rather than the chords in Rock Band that are accurate, but therefore slightly repetitive.

Same with guitar hero that you think is so hard.

Thats because in Rock Band i can actually get used to it. In Guitar Hero III jumping from Medium to Hard is like jumping from Medium to Expert in Guitar Hero II. I really don't see why they had to make it so much harder then the second one. It was fine, I try play hard, and there's just those ridiculous parts where you have to hit so many notes i like 2 seconds where in Medium i never got that. I don't think they put enough time into thinking how people like me and can't play on Expert would react. They're only worrying about you guys who play it and want to make it harder for you. Sure thats good for you, giving you a challenge but for us it just seems ridiculous that we have to follow our ridiculously high standards just to play Expert or Hard.

whats funny is that I have friends who say the 'expert' mode in Rock Band isn't hard enough, lol, and I barely can get through songs on 'hard'

Yeah, me too. I guess for the people who play Guitar Hero on Expert thought Rock Band was much easier. But i guess it makes sense, because Rock Band was focused most on the drums. Thats the reason why most people likely got it, so they wanted to make it a challenge for people because it was a new thing.

I've pretty much gotten bored of Rock Band without having XBL to download new songs off of. The main mode for the game gets boring fast considering all you do is play the songs on one level of difficulty, then go back and start playing them all again on the next level of difficulty :/

Playing with a group of people is still a blast, though

lol yea, that's always been the downside of Rock Band. Atleast if you beat it on Expert you unlock the other achievements

Yeah .. i can't play Expert yet and thats kinda why I'm sorta bored of it. I haven't played it in like a week, and i let my neighbor borrow it for a while. Playing the same songs over and over again isn't as fun, and i don't get a lot of points often so i don't buy as many songs. But i did buy like 5, played those enough though.

lol, I buy a song every time its one of my favorites for from a favorite band. and if its in a pack I buy the back because it's cheaper then buying each song separate. Right now I have 15 downloaded songs. Sad thing is my sister hasn't played with me since January.

So Harmonix needs to add the Online Band World Tour soon and not in a sequel.

I was hoping that it would already be in it once i got the game. I was so disappointed when it wasn't, because my brother blows nuts at everything.

yea my sister can only play vocals on hard so we gain any fans because I play on expert and you cant go down to an easier difficulty.

From what I've notice is if everyone starts on the same difficulty, it takes longer for them to force you to go up a difficulty. I might make a new band, start on easy till the force us to go to medium. Because my friends beat it but they all started on medium and by the time they were done everyone was playing on expert.

Umm there is a set fan cap for every difficulty no matter what.

easy - (no clue)
medium - 260,000
hard - 600,000
expert - infinite
