I just got Rock Band and it is one amazing game!! The pack came with a guitar, drum set, and microphone. Mostly I have been using the guitar but I have also done a little bit of drumming...and I have yet to use the microphone.

But anyways, the game feels very much like Rock Band when playing with the guitar, but the drums and singing add a new layer of fun to the experience. The flaw of this is that I have found the parts an instrument might play in a song can be, at times, boring (or have nothing to play at all), vs. Guitar Hero where songs were made to focus on having amazing guitar tracks. And I still think the drum parts are way too hard

At the moment I am really wishing that a sequel will have an option for users to take songs off of the HDD and make a rock band track to them, but for now the songs on Rock Band were mostly good.

So yeah, i'm really enjoying this game and can't wait to see what the future of this franchise brings

It's an awesome game, and even better when your playing with other people. Online is fun as well so when you get that playing it online will be fun as hell. Great game, guitar isn't too hard, drums isn't that hard you just need to get used to it, and singing isn't that bad either. It's a fun laid back game unlike GHIII where the songs are insane and retarded and people can barely pass them.

That's cause you barely play GHIII.But anyway back on topic,I think it's fun,the songs are good and so are song charts.The online can be improved.Also my drums sometime double bass.

No, not really when i got it i played it a lot. I beat it on Easy 5 starring every song (i know not hard but i was new to the game). I beat it on Medium, trying to 5 star every song, but when i do co-op or something and someone wants to do it i see them doing Expert and it looks insanely hard. Not everyone is great at Guitar Hero.

Real guitar is way easier than guitar hero also. I could take any song off guitar hero 3 and learn it on my guitar in 1 day except for the really long songs they might take me an extra day or two but yeah for example slayer raining blood cant play for **** on hard or expert but on real guitar i learnt it in one day by heart. lol so you may aswell take your 150 bucks buy a crappy little guitar bundle from a music store and start there.

i played rock band a couple of times and it cant even go on gutiar hero's level. rock band is so eazy and kinda, i would say gay! rock band is not a challege and has the weridest songs.
BUT i guess thas my opinion and everyone i noe's opinion.

the difference between Rock Band's guitar and Guitar Hero's guitar is that Rock Band stayed true to the actual tabs while Guitar is just to make you look amazing. If you take the tab to say Reptilia (which is on both games) and compared them to both expert charts in both games, you will find that Rock Band's compares more to the chart than Guitar Hero's (which adds more notes than are required to strum to play).

I think you got it backwards.RockBand is wayyyyyy harder than Guitar Hero.All of the Impossible Tier i cant beat at all.

I'm starting to find more songs I like on Rock Band. I'm probably going to pick up just the game of GHIII eventually since I already have a guitar and it'll give more songs to play until i get XBL and can download RB songs

They've got quite a few songs for Rock Band on the Marketplace and i have a few of them and their pretty good. I'm working on doing my Drums Solo Tour on Medium now (I'm not that good at drums).
