So, I played ME, neglected my studies for some time, and finally beat it about three or four months ago. The last few lines of dialog, though, stuck in my head. He makes it very clear he is going to hunt down the Reapers. But, what do you think is going to take place in ME2? Since we know it's a trilogy, he can't beat all of the Reapers in ME2, so what do you think will happen in ME2?

I think the mythology is all about destroying the reapers, thats going to happen in part three.

MAss Effect is said to have dlc to fill the gap between I and II. I think the main battle in II is going to be the batarians and Sovergian, then the reapers in part III

Mass Effect had two endings...so I wonder how this will work in the sequel. The council dead or alive? Plus characters like Ashley and Kaiden...one of them should be dead.

In Mass Effect 2 we'll probably fight batarians, reapers, and maybe even more geth. They'll have to introduce new villains, plus new squadmates.

Sure they did Calo...Sure they did. I think that they're definitely going to have to fight more Reapers, but I just don't know in what way. If you consider how we fought Saren right at the end, it might make sense that the Reapers will do that to other people, thus making us have to fight them that way. However, I am not really sure what to expect other than that.

^Buuuut... the only reason Sovereign was able to do that was because Saren went through modifications. So that means that each Reaper would have to modify a humanoid and then take control.

I really want to see the big bugs come back. I let them live in most of my games so it would be cool if they helped us in the fight against the Reapers.

the first thing that comes to mind is some sort of ancient super weapon hidden for eternity and you'll be able to use it to destroy the reapers. in the 3rd or second.

maybe an even more powerful ship than sovereign will join.

or maybe theres a control panel or something that drives all the reapers, either on a mother ship or in the dimension in which the reapers came. - doubt it though

you'll probably have to go to the universe where the reapers came

i don't think there will be direct fighting with the reapers. probably cut scenes showing them die.

there might be an all powerful reaper squished to a human form.

thats a possibility. The so called 'important' protheans were sealed in the stasis pods so I think that a few of them could be revived.
