Which guild in Oblivion has the best quests in your opinion and why?

I like the quests with the Mages Guild because they have the most variety. I also like that being in the Mages Guild doesn't alienate you from any other guilds... and the stuff I can "borrow" is worth good money.

Dark Brotherhood - 34 Quests
Fighters Guild - 20 Quests
Mages Guild - 23 Quests
Thieves Guild - 13 Quests

You know the guy near your prison cell at the very beggining of the game, he insults greatly you for whatever race you are. One of the dark brotherhood quests you go back and kill him. It was most satisfying.

The Dark Brotherhood quests, from what i've heard, sound the most fun. I think i'll join it soon.

The only reason I didn't care for them as much as the Mages Guild is because nearly all of the Dark Brotherhood quests involve assassinating such and such person. There was more diversity with the Mages Guild.

I'm thinking of starting a new file and being an 'evil' character now to play the DB and Thieves Guild.

My current character just isn't suited for those guilds, and I really don't want to wait to beat the game to do a new file.

Question: if I start a new file, can I keep the saves from my old character? Or will starting this new game wipe the loads clean?

You'll copy over the autosaves so you want to make sure that you don't rely heavily on the autosaves. Just make sure you don't manually save over a save file from your other character by accident.

And I would just make another profile on the 360 to save the new game to, but I love getting all the achievements

Dark Brotherhood!! but i also like being the stealthy Gray Fox aswell.

yea .. i liked the thives guild .. but i dont like stealing all the stuff to get money so that i can do a big quest .. i didnt mind the stealing but it took to long .. also i kept killing and pickpocting other members of the same guild and i had to keep buying my self in.. i like the dark brotherhood.. mostly because i get to just kill people and get rewarded for it

Fighters because at the end you get a lot of money per month.
