Steveo is right, it's a rant room. Where you go on a rant hence "Rant Room". And i can see where he is coming from. Fortunately for me i don't have as much stuff on my HDD so I've got a decent amount of space left for my 20 GB HDD.

And what does it mean to future proof your system?

to future proof something means your getting ready for anything else that comes at you. like the update that was released for the xbox 360 recently was to "future proof" the system for anything else microsoft decides to make for it. just preparing for the future basically.

what ive been trying to do is prepare my 360 for dlc's and expansions. which are usually 500mb or more. since i only have like 2gb left.

If you notice, the 360 HDD are custom made for the system. So you would think if a HDD is custom made it will cost more then just a regular HDD on a computer. I think around 150 you can get 350 GB to 500 GB if you know where to look.

Look at Xbox Live: $50 a year, that's actually a great deal

Yes, I am worrying about Gas Prices, because I will be driving in a little bit so I need to pay for things like this. I never mentioned food, so next time, read a little better and then come back with something that doesn't involve swearing and ignorant comments.

Wow.I can't believe your complaining about this.It's so cheap IMO.

About the Hardrive thing.You don't have to buy Microsoft brand.You can just look on the internet and find other ones that are way cheaper.

But other than that,everything is cheap.

seeing as how you brought your personal gas problems into the argument, which has absolutely nothing to do with the topic and in no way relates to xbox/microsoft, why not bring up rising food prices? if gas prices are really a problem for you, try a better solution like using public transportation, limiting trips, or fuel efficient cars. then gas wont be such a problem. all you should be using it for is going to school and back, even then you should use the school districts transportation services. maybe you need to read and think more into the post and topic, before making off topic, nescient posts about gas prices in an xbox/microsoft thread.

not everyone has tons of money to throw away like you. this **** is getting really expensive, ive spent way too much money on some of this xbox and game ****, and now im trying to cut corners, but the ****s over at microsoft force you to buy all their **** and so you cant save some money. but i did read about the custome hdd, and thats what i said in a post before here, but like i said if you do 1 thing wrong when your transferring the data to a hard drive, then microsoft will ban you from everything the can.
