They obviously think it's not bad enough we already have a cap on our internet and slow speeds yet it's still expensive for half decent plan? Now government wants to decide whats appropriate for the people further slowing down internet speed and upping the price. It will be mandatory for all and enforced by the law. They have and will continue to waste millions upon millions of dollars on ideas like this.

Don't you just love government? Before you know it we will be living in a world like mirrors edge everything under surveillance minus the cool free runners. I really hope people do something about this or if it does come into effect it fails spectacularly and the government shoves it up their arse and rids Australia of this problem.

I'm support democrats, however I don't fall into any specific category. It's common sense anyway, if a government gets too powerful the people have the right to dismantle it. Of course, I'm not saying shoot and kill, just hold a petition, boycott, or protest. Something to keep the government in its place.

Gibs, there will likely be many means of still accessing "dirty" sites that they block..not that i care or look at those sites but it is quite annoying knowing you have a filter on your internet, when its YOUR internet and you can do whatever you want. Stupid idea, but whatever i wont really care if it happens...as long as they don't go crazy and block sites that may have the slightest sexual references.

^ Lol, my school blocks 'tasteless' sites. I don't even know what that means.

^My school went nuts and blocked almost everything. Then it finally eased up and unblocked youtube. Btw our internet speeds are about as good as the rest of the world but it costs a hell of a lot.
