Can anyone tell me whats so great about that drum kit where they make you pay $350 for it?

Its not only a Drum set that works with both GH:WT and Rock Band. Its a virtual drum set that works with any software that has drum set capabilities.

My school has one of these, same brand and its pretty sweet. If I had 350$ lying around I'd grab it.
