Default Heat Wave

Im going through possibly the worst heat streak/heat wave ever in Australia. Its been up to 45 degrees (113 degrees Fahrenheit?) for a full straight week without any cool changes, meaning it stays at 45 and only drops to about 34 or so and goes up the next morning back to the 40s. There has been NO relief, just constant heat and no rain in ages..and it needs to rain, BADLY. I have to go back to school on Monday in this **** weather too.

I remember my Dad afew months back saying "damn its cold, looks like we're in for the coldest Summer yet!" and now its the exact opposite. Summertime here usually has tropical storms and heavy rain AT LEAST once in Summer but this is ridiculous..theres no forecast for a change yet either.

Its the second month of Summer, about to start the 3rd. It was surprisingly cold in early December but now has really gone the other way. For how the seasons work, its basically just the opposite from the US isn't it ?

Summer - December, January, February
Autumn - March, April, May
Winter - June, July, August
Spring - September, October, November

Damn that sucks. Seems like the seasons are reversed down there in Australia compared to the US.

^That is what he said.

But yeah that really does blow. And going to school in that heat is even worse, our school has no air conditioning so it sucks big time going to school in bad heat. Have fun starting school! I'd rather be halfway through my school year then just starting.

Our school doesn't need air con. Its so bloody cold here all the time. We need heaters that work -.-

The warmest i have experienced was 40 Degrees Celcius is when i was in France. But yeah. its usually about 5-10 Degrees Celcius here. about 2 weeks ago it was -2 Degrees Celcius during the day.

113? That's pretty hot. The hottest it got near me was like 110.

That is horrible! Over here in California we get the best weather all year round. Like today it was sunny with a little bit of wind. The coldest it got this winter in my area is probably 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

I had to play golf in this heat this morning, i felt like throwing up and passing out. Its ridiculous how it goes straight to 40 degrees in the morning and proceeds up to 45, stays there all day and goes down to about 35 and stays there until the next morning so it can go back up to the 40s..its a cycle that's not ending! no cool changes whatsoever! But looking at the forecast its dropping to the 30s instead of 40s in the day so hopefully it gets cooler finally next week. It better, i start school and im not anywhere in the mood wanting to put up with sweating my ass off in a classroom with no working or weak air conditioners running. Also from watching the news, its the hottest Summer in Melbourne in the last 100 or so years...
