I think his memory card is gone. If the power goes out, and you have electronics on, there is a change that it could mess up the memory unit/hard drive.

I guess you learned the hard way...

it did happen once lol i return microsoft stuff and they gave me all the money back and that was after 1 year :P

Thats a record. One time, I bought a 12 month trial, it didn't work, called microsoft and they said keep trying, it will work sometime.
