Default Halo 3 TOURNAMENT!

Welcome to the Xbox 360 Evolved Halo 3 Tournament!

The tournament will begin in January and will run until completed. Expect fierce competition and a long tournament.


Rules And Entry

1. Teams will be made up of 4 primary players with 1 sub for emergencies. All teams must create an account on X3E and post their gamertags, team name, sub and team captain. The team captain must give X3E a reliable e-mail address so they can receive updates regarding the tournament. If the other members of the team would like the updates they can supply a valid e-mail as well.

2. Teams will have until December 31th 2007 to enter.

3. Only gamertags that are registered to a team may compete in that team’s matches. If a gamertag that isn’t registered to that team participates in a tournament match that team forfeits that game.

4. The maps and gametypes will be decided by X3E and will be posted in a separate thread for competitors to view. X3E GravityFlux will host the appropriate maps (when applicable) and gametypes in his fileshare for download after December 3rd. Team captains should send a friend request to X3E GravityFlux and download the appropriate files.

5. X3E will not adjust maps or gametypes to cater to various Halo players or organizations. This tournament is for everyone to enjoy and is designed as such.

6. Tournament matches will be set up by X3E and e-mailed to the team captains the week of the matches. Matches are then to be arranged by the team captains. Each bracket will have through the Sunday of that week to complete their matches. The winning team will advance to the next bracket.

7. The games and scores will be reviewed and the results will be posted on X3E the following Tuesday.

8. There is to be no cheating or glitching; as outlined in the Xbox Live user agreement. If a team is proven to be doing either of these that team will forfeit their standings in the tournament and be completely disqualified from further competition.

9. If at any point during a game a player quits or lags out that game shall continue until it's completion and count as a victory for whichever team wins. Once the game is over the teams can wait for an agreed upon amount of time for the player to return.

Prizes

All prizes are only for the primary players in that team unless otherwise noted.

First place will receive the following:
A copy of GTAIV once released
Either a H3 limited edition controller or headset
The sub for the first place team will receive:
$25 gift card to Best Buy

Second place will receive the following:
A copy of GTAIV once released

Third place will receive the following:
$40 gift card to Best Buy


Xbox 360 Evolved reserves the right to amend and/or adjust the rules and prizes as well as the right to alter the status of any team without notice.

I guess I can join seeing that you want alot of people to do this mainly the active people here on the forum. Just when and how are teams going to be set up.
