To join the clan for this forum you just go to the thread regarding membership and say you're interested. You don't need to change your name... currently.

Then X3E wouldn't be a clan. Therefor this site would be home to many different clans. I like the idea of having one clan here, this is the home of X3E. Not the home of this, and this, and that.
