Let me start off by saying that these matches are why the f*** this tourney is happening! They were CRAZY. Each match was close, down to the wire, you might lose, you might win fun! I was puckered so hard that I lost control of my bladder and pissed myself! TWICE!
Everyone played awesome. Amazing kills and accomplishments on both sides. Gravity Flux did an amazing job of being decoy and luring out the opponents so the rest of RPD could earn some kills. ![]() Game 1: X3E Slayer on Narrows Link To Awesomeness This game started out with Rapin' getting an early lead and establishing a good "base". Slowly, through guerilla tactics, RPD caught up and used hit and run tactics (and a few lucky grenades) to gain a decent lead. Using a revolving door technique to send 2 men forward and keep 2 men back for cover RPD took a strong lead and closed out the match feeling energized but worried for what's to come. Score: 50-23. Winner: RPD. Game 2: Spartan Flags on Lowground Link To Complete Insanity This game was the epidemy of close calls! Each team had numerous near awesome experiences. Every round was filled with "S***! I Almost had it!" over and over again. The first round passes and then the second round. No one has scored. No has gotten close. This match is going to be a draw. NO! Through amazing strategy and dumb luck RPD gets the flag out the door. Gravity Flux gets the pick-up while Landshadow meets him on the outside of the wall with the Warthog for a quick get-a-way with the rest of RPD giving cover! The final round... the pressure is on Rapin' to score just to tie the game. Things go back and forth with Rapin' using the Warthog to break into the back of the base. They get the snag and make a dash for home! Rapin' gets the flag out of the base and HALFWAY DOWN THE BEACH!!! There's nearly 3 minutes left of play and the flag is literally within a short sprint to a score and Rapin's place in history! RPD holds their ground, hunkers down and holds Rapin' at bay! To claim a hard fought victory RPD holds the flag on the beach for almost 2 minutes... until 1 last Rapin' member is left... and alone. With a barrage of weaponry sending kisses his way it was only a matter of seconds before he joined his comrades. Awesomess abounds on both teams in this one! Score: 1-0. Winner: RPD. Game 3: X3E Spartan on The Pit Link To The Mouth of Madness This game was frickin' nuts! You just have to watch it to believe it. It came down to only a handful of remaining lives left for Achimba, Blinq and JRaceR. With 2 lives apiece it looked like Achimba was done for just due to basic math. Using deathcam views and a slow, methodical approach Achimba eliminates Blinq while JRaceR watches from safety waiting to swoop in like Batman! With 2 lives left JRaceR and Achimba square off in a mono-y-mono battle to claim ulitmate victory! Using rockets, sword and sniper rifles Achimba pulls the victory out of his anus crevice and plants the win firmly on RPD. Score: 28-26. Winner: RPD. This was crazy fun! Congrats on great games to everyone involved! I had a blast!

But don't kid yourselves... Rapin' was TOUGH! They will definitely challenge any team in this tournament. In our matches with them it could have just as easily been them claiming victory over us. It was that close most of the time.
