I was playing my Rock Band game with my brother and suddenly, it just stopped working. We restarted it and played again for about ten minutes and then bam, it stopped working. When we took it out, it had a fine line around the disk. I was thinking that it might be a problem with the laser, but I am not sure. Does anyone here have any speculation?

Get yourself a disk cleaner like the rest of us. You might have the older models that still damage disks.

moving the console is the only way that a fine line like that can get on the disc. even a bump or tap can cause it to be scratched. so you'll just have to get a new game if it doesnt work, the same thing happend with me when i called microsoft, and gamestop and they told me exactally what im telling you.
