Well today I finally got my 360 5 days after it was supposed the to come and at first I was a bit pissed because they literally gave me back my 360, which in a way, is good because then I know they actually fixed it and didn't give me someone else.
Well I hook it up, turn it on expecting to here a loud fan but in result it was barely a hither. you would only hear it if you had complete silence but when I had music running and playing games it never really amped up the noise factor like it used to. So I'm happy that its fix, so far no problems but I also need to know is this standard in 360's now? |

That's like mine, but after a few hours of Halo 3 it gets hot and louder.

Yea, if they are refurbishing the replacement 360s with the Falcon board, then you will get the "new" quiet 360. I don't hear mine when I play, but mine is also in my entertainment center behind wooden doors, so I shouldn't expect to hear it.

The intercooler works for me. It hasn't effected my 360 in anyway, and i haven't experienced any problems with it. I definitely think it's worth it if you don't mind your 360 being louder then it is.
