This is Hellagay.
This is how the story goes. I run out of batteries on my controller and then i run upstairs getting some more. Then when i come back with the batteries I notice that my headset is on the ground and i put it back into the controller and it makes the people I talk too sound like they have a tube in their troat. Also it doesn't have a loud volume like it used too.

Help!!!

Must be faulty mate, try returning it for a new one...or test if its your controller by attaching your headset into a different controller ?

I tried putting into another controller and it does the same thing.

Well then it must be the headset itself which is faulty, im no expert but the thing i would do is go return it for a new one and see if that was the problem or not.

Mine stopped working yesterday. I bought a Plantronics Gamecom x30 shortly after, I like it.

One of the wires might be damaged or something. It happened to mine, I just kept hitting it and it eventually worked.. :P

Is it the one made by Microsoft? Those are really cheapy. If you can't fix it, call Microsoft support and tell them it's broken. They will probably send you another one.

I've had my current headset since I got my console, but my other two headsets that I've used like once do not work. It really depends on the headset I guess, though lots have people have gone through a lot of mics.

I might just call microsoft.

Just get a new one, you either broke it on accident, or your's is faulty. Either way you're gonna have to get a new one...
