Angry OMFG! My 360 Broke!

I am so pissed off right now. I've had this thing for less than a month and it already won't work. The console says my games are "unreadable" and no, it isn't a matter of them being dirty. When i put a disc into the 360, it makes strange churning and beeping noises before stopping to say the disc cannot be read.

Seriously, I have had my Xbox 360 for less than a month, and I already might have to freakin' send it in to Microsoft. I am so angry

Dude... I fully understand, bro. It frickin' sucks! My second 360 broke after 3 months and my third 360 broke after a month. I still love my 360 but... dang they break a lot dude. Hopefully you didn't do what I did when my last one broke... which was throw my controller through a wall... (if I remember I'll take a photo and post it for your amusement)

Ok, after a call to MS Support, a box will be coming in 3-5 days for me to send my 360 to them in. My only hope is that it doesn't take long for them to fix it and send it back. Once school starts I won't have much time at all to play 360 between band, homework, and college prep. What i'm so pissed off about is I specifically bought the 360 during summer so i'd be able to have my fun with it before school starts and now this...

Wow that sucks man, i feel lucky that mine hasn't broke yet for over a year. But i get that noise you said sometimes and sometimes my disc just completely stops running and it starts up again and it sounds like its scratching my discs but i don't think it is.

My first 360 (a launch 360) lasted just short of a year. After that they've lasted for shorter and shorter periods of time... except my current 360 which is going strong and running better than any of the other ones have.

TFG- I had my first 360 shipped off and returned to me in 5 business days. IT WAS FAST! I hope you get yours back soon... and get Live...

Thankfully the only problem with my 360 is that the tray has to be pushe din to open if it dosen't have a disk in it.

Hope you get your 360 fixed man

The only thing that sucks is it could take as quickly as 1 week or as long as 2 months.

What makes the xbox 360 have such a high failure rate when other consoles don't?
Why hasn't Microsoft fixed this massive problem yet?
Seriously WTF?!?!?!?!
