Help! I got the checkboard freezing graphic today. Is taht bad? Will i get RROD? Will I get free replacement?

I got it when playing GoW once but i didnt get the RROD, just restarted and it fixed itself..

I've gotten it.
The easiest way to fix this is to play your 360 while it's like this >> | << instead of like this >>_ <<

I got it with GoW and it fried my 360. For me that meant my graphics card was fried.

I do play with my Xbox hortizontal. Idk. It was really bad yesterday, freezing up every infection game, but now it seems fine. Idk. Hopefully it won't come back!

that happened to me, then the screen had purple diagnol lines and it was a fried graphics card i think, but i had to get a new one, then a week or two my new one had it so i turned it off quickly and it hasnt come back 4 like 2 months...

Man... Well, me and my dad are gonna try the towel trick to cook the cables and if that doesn't work I'm sending it in. At least its free...

The towel trick worked for my cousin once. Then he turned it off and when he got back to turn it on it happened again. Hope it works for ya.
