ok, i am so close to chunking my 360 out the godamn window. i test the connection and everything is connected. i go to xbox.com, and it works but its laggy. i try to sign in, i get an error page. i go to support, and it says maintenence will start in like 5 or 6 hours. are they already starting? when i try signing in on the xbox it kicks me out of my profile, i cant even play offline, it says disconected from messenger, when it wasnt connected in the first place. and the connections fine. and mgc is like 4 days behind on my games.

im running an ethernet cable through my laptop to my router to my modem to the internet. and it has worked perfectly until today.

so are any of you having these problems?

I am... i dont know what is happening. I cant sign into my acct. I mean it starts to sign in, loads the page and everything, then it resets to the original settings... only my non-live accts work.

EDIT: I called customer service and they say to wait an hour and then try again. They will be getting a piece of my mind.

Wtf?! I can sign into XBL but it says all of my friends are Offline. And I can sign into Xbox.com site too, and i have a bunch of people on. Not cool.

Dude w/e it is with the net its not your Xbox trust me people think the internet is all in their computer or Xbox but its not. Check your router or see if anything that is keeping up the bandwidth like lime wire or ask your dad if he is doing anything.

I can get on-line now but no one is on-line and I can't get into any games... lame. Also, if I go on Bungie or Xbox it says I have friends on-line. This is so lame.

trust me its none of that. i spent over an hour running tests, putting away any devices that can absorb the radio waves, i reset the computer, reset the network, disconnected recconected, disabled firewall. and im the only one thats ever home so i dont have to worry about, anyone using up bandwidth. and it works even if someone is using the computer.

but it doesnt matter anymore cause it works now.

Xbox is doing server matinence thankfully in a little while. They owe me three song on GH3 that I should've won but lost miserably due to lag.

Yeah there was an e-mail sent from Xbox Live to everyone. It was only for an hour too, not that big of a deal.

No. I had no clue what was happening until I called customer support. I never got an e-mail but I did receive a message on Live... that was sent during the maintenance.
