This Problem as actually made so angry.Madden 08 does it ,i bought a new 1 thinking it was the game it had the same problem.R6v happens at best 3 times a night.Its happened to Mass Effect Twice but its holding through.

Take off your Hard Drive and blow inside of it, there will probably be a lot of dust in their. Thats what i did and i lay it down instead of standing up so that might be it too.

What is the manufactured date of your console? (Look on the back).

This is one of the many problems of the old consoles, in fact, mine did this with every game after just a month of owning my first 360
Or it could just be your disc drive is dusty.

what may be the problem is your laser inside of your disk drive. Since my Xbox's warrenty is voided already I just would ope mine up and clean it with some vinegar and a cotten ear swab. But if your warrenty is good then just call microsoft way better to keep warrenty. (intercooler voided warrenty..... also bought from someone else aand then modded my 360's case....(well working on case mods will post pics when i am done))

Which is stupid because there are maybe as many problems with the Disk reading problem as their is with the RROD. I'm starting to get it here and there again. But I'm living with it because i don't have a warranty and i don't want to send in my 360.

If you have a disk problem, just let your Xbox on for about the whole day till it gets RROD.

That would be stupid. Even if you can't play any games your Xbox doesn't read any discs. You can still play arcade games while you wait to get the box to send your 360 in. And if your in a case like me where it happens every now and then, live with it. I don't get it a lot but I've had the problem before. Only with certain games which is weird.
