Live doesn't effect the storage on your computer. Obviously if you download stuff onto your computer it will take up room but if your just streaming the Internet and not doing anything it shouldn't take up space. Just delete your history and your cookies and your clean.

Oh, you're talking about bandwith aren't you? Well, any program that you use Xbox, Computer, Laptop, w/e. Will take up as much bandwith as possible at the time. So if you have a 3mb DL speed it'll take up at least 2.5 DL speed. So basically it'll take away 75% of your bandwith or even more. If your computer is on it'll basically store that bandwith and it'll give some to w/e is running an application or internet-based thing that requires bandwith. So it's always flowing.

And if you DL something on the 360 it will take as much bandwith as a PC download will take.

Streaming videos through Windows Media Center although, won't take up much if any at all, bandwith.

If you're gonna run your comp. and Xbox 360 at the same time. Get either cheap cable, or expensive DSL.

Best DSL Available or Cheapest Cable Available. That means your DL would be reasonably at 3mb. And if any slower, your apps. will surely fail to load, or become too slow to function.

lol i think so. holding my cursor over the internet connection thing down the bottom right says wireless network whatever 54mbps lol im no good with computers so i have no clue what it means but yeah just playing games with other people on live would use up quite a bit of usage or bandwith or something i dunno lol. ill think about it then try to explain it better.

Wireless won't get the most out of your connection dude. If its possible switch to wired.

If you have a good router then wireless is perfectly fine. If you have a crappy router, then that will make your connection crap.

Nah he doesn't..he hasn't even got his new PC yet lol his dad won't let him. And wireless isn't bad..i have WiFi wireless and its good for internet and Live, only problem is that i do happen to have ****ty internet speed.

damn i should be getting live soon but my dad keeps saying it will take up all of our usage as i call it or BANDWIDTH and since my dad works his company from home he needs the internet but hopefully soon when we get a new hd tv and stuff we will get live then i can finally vs calo at halo and see if i can beat him cos he owns at basically any game.
