Default Wow okay..
I bought a 1 month card and it works fine. I put the code in but when I redeem it an error comes up saying 'Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live' but I'm connected to live and my friends list shows. Does anyone know why its doing this? Is it because I'm on someone elses Xbox or is this just temporarily?

No idea, does it show your card being Gold? If it doesn't the card doesn't work and i don't know if you can bring it back to the retail store or not. But I'd call Microsoft or something if no one knows. Sucks man.

dont worry, all of us are having problems with Live..i sign in and it keeps disconnecting.

Yeah the card is fine. When I redeem it it says 1 month Xbox live gold subscription at the top. I click redeem code and it says Xbox live can not retreive info wtf?

I called the xbox hotline and they said there is network problems. Hopefully thats it.

I tried again late last night. I could connect to Live but the stupid error message kept coming up! This is so f***ing stupid.

Did you try it today? I seems that all the problems have been fixed for everyone, and it should work. If not, I'd call them again.
