Okay everyone I'm using ClearWire wireless internet.
Cheap yet not built for gaming at all...
Tech support people are saying I shouldn't have a problem with my 2100 Kps Upload speed.
So I'm wondering why such bad lag?
Can anyone help me out.
I know they've gotten really bad rep about everything they have done, and what not, but it really is good for computer usage.

You should try getting a different one.When you go to a store to buy a router thingimicbob you should look to see if it is Xbox Live compatible.

I've already bought a router that is Xbox Live compatible it's just I get bad lag.
I'm looking for superior solutions!

Its your download speed taht really matters. Well, they both matter. But download speed is more important!

Shouldn't use Wireless internet to game at all

and Do NOT use Satellite Interet for Gaming either, you wouldn't believe the amount of lag there is there

^True that. My manager uses satellite and he can't get on XBL at all. It's sad. My entire house is run on wireless... except for my 360. It's the only thing that is wired.

Red Line runs wirelessly and he's got an awesome connection. Maybe thats also because he's so close to the router that he gets such a great connection. I connect to a router, works great for me.

Check and see if any other computers are on while you are playing. If so turn them off and see if that chances it.
