Don't take this the wrong way if your a die hard fan but i predict these will be the extremely fun and non-repedative missions in CoD 5

Reach the checkpoint/extraction point
Defend against wave of enemy soldiers
Plant bombs on tanks
Use a turret/mounted gun to destroy vehicles or planes

That sums up any WWII Call of Duty game i think.

Still a slightly true rumor. IW said they're working on a new IP that's supposed to be set in the future but we don't know if the next CoD will be included in that.

It is a rumor. I think people are confusing CoD6 with IW and Activision's new IP that they announced. The confusion I think comes from Activision announcing CoD6 and the new IP at the same time.

I personally think that CoD6 will be a modern game, like a continuation of the CoD4 story.

i ****in hope not. the only distant futuristic games i like is halo 3. any other game set 500 or more years into the future will suck imo.

but unless cod6 is near future like graw 2, that would be awesome. but i perfer that that cod 6 stay modern warfare, then call of duty 7 will be near future.

but im sure cod5 will be more than just those missions. i think calo nord is just being sarcastic. but i think this will be the last ww2 game. because the game was in development for 2 years, (1 year before they even knew call of duty 4 was modern warfare) so halfway through development it was too late to start from scratch again.

I think it will be more futuristic as in Battlefield 2142 and the likes.
