I don't know if anyone else read this seeing its abit old but im interested, it may be a good game and likely would have to be on 360 obviously. If you get to play as the monster that would be so cool. if you play as Hud or a Marine i will not even bother getting it.

I can imagine if you play as the monster you would just run around smashing the same cloned building over and over again. And if you were to play as Hud or someone, wtf ? what fun gameplay is that. Cloverfield really isn't a movie for a game but i will like to see how this shapes out.

You have to run around and avoid monsters all while not dropping your camera. The game will be developed in a shaky 'handheld" view so you can never really be sure what's going on. It will be AMAZING!!!

only way to make this game good is to turn it into a survival horror, action where it's crazy realistic(i.e running out of stamina, starting out with a bat or other meele weapon.) and you're either another cameraman, or a survivalist.
Or just make it a completely different monster that doesn't reside in New York. |

This game has potential. It could be like a portal/McGeyver hybrid. Where you have limited items and you must use them to get past obstacles and leave the city. Of course, if its ends up being where you play as the monster or if its a FPS, then this game will fail.
