The rumors just keep coming readers! This next one is from the same source as all the rest, and has to do with the next installment in the Call Of Duty series. Just like the fourth installments various box arts, it seems that the fifth installment will have many different box arts before any single one is chosen to represent the game.

Also, as you may have noticed, none of the box arts have the number "5" on them anywhere, and the game instead seems to be subtitled "World at War." Could this be a ploy on Activision's part to ensure that the best-selling COD4 continues to sell all the way through to the end of the year and beyond? Seems likely.

the boxarts look great, and the game doesnt seem like it'll be that bad after all. i thought cod3 was good, maybe cod5 will be like cod4 but ww2 instead.

im sick of world war games though.

I like the first one the best. If anyone is going to get this game, it should definitely be for the MP. I don't get why anyone would want it for it's repetitive SP. Unless they are a WWII fanatic or some sort.

I like the 3rd boxart, but yeah like everyone said WWII games are played out.

For some reason the third box art reminds me of Vietnam. (Also this is very similar to BF Vietnam). I like the first and last one. I don't think any of this express that the game is set in the Pacific though.

CoD4 box art featured a modern solider, so you kind of got the setting. I think if maybe they did something like the Iwa Jima flag raising, or something similar then it would be better. (And honoring those veterans)
