I was playing Lost Odyssey last night. I was playing the DLC. It's apparently set-up so that you can only go back up to the top every 5 floors. Okay... didn't know that but whatever, right? So I get to the fifth floor. No save point. No biggie; I'll go to the tenth floor. No save point. Hmmmm. I go to the fifteenth floor. Still no save. At this point I've been playing for about 2+ hours. Frustrated I go on-line and look on Gamefaqs. I see that this entire DLC section of the world HAS NO SAVE POINTS! F***ing retarded!!! So now my options are either keep going and beat it or turn around and try to make my way back out (at the current floor I'm was on the baddies were nearly killing my entire party pretty quickly). Being me... I decided to keep going. Figuring my chances were tough either way. I get to the last floor (twenty-fourth floor) and am just about to fight the initiate the boss encounter when I get some random bad guy encounter. No big deal, right? I've made it this far... what's one more random encounter? ONE HIT KILLS MY ENTIRE PARTY. ONE!!!!! From some random non-boss monster. My party was all nearly maxed out and had so much rad equipment it's not even funny! ONE HIT! I had played for over 3 hours without a single save and didn't even get defeated by the boss... I got beat by some stupid random monster. I'm so pissed I don't even know I can bring myself to play this game any more.

Wow this happened to me before in Dead Rising..
OMG now that i remember i fucing hate dead rising its cool and all to play around but then it gets to all this bull**** and the save is **** the next time i turn my console on i have to start from the begigning of the game but i still have all my weapons and ****...

wat they expect me to play 24 hours without turning my 360 off! that BS

I got really far in the game.Got to like the second day and I forgot to save.

Sucks man, i would say "i feel your pain" but the thing is i haven't. If that had happened to me, I'd never play the game again. Piece of sh!t doesn't let me save, why would i play it again?

damn that really sucks. this happened to me in mass effect before with me loosing 1-2 hours of gameplay. dear god i would get heated so i feel you there grav. just dont play it for a few days, play some halo 3 or something and come back to it later.

It was one of those black Kelolon things. But... I don't think it was a Hellish Kelolon. I honestly wasn't paying attention to what it was... it killed me with Prismus... which made no sense. I had absorb magic, negate magic, etc etc... DUMB!

Seriously... I was so angry. I haven't put it back in yet. I've been playing Gears and H3.

You want to know the most retarded thing about this situation? The game has save points... scattered sparsley around the world. There is also a feature where you can manually save... only it's never available. You hit 'Y', go to 'System' and there is a "save" option... the game even tells you to do this... but I have never once been able to use this option. I don't understand why games don't just use an Oblivion or ME saving style. Save when you want and where you want.


So pissed!!! I think I'll stick with Gears and my Wii for a few days and then beat this game and be done with it. This situation just ruined this awesome game for me.

^All my immortals did have that. Plus they had immunity to a bunch of elements, absorb a bunch of elements and reduce magic damage to 0. I got raped and there is no way I should have even taken much damage.
