i found this and thought it was interesting. I had no idea this game had been in development so long:

Too Human Trilogy for Xbox 360

Silicon Knight’s Too Human has been in development for nearly a decade. The game original began and a PlayStation game and then had been moved to the GameCube when Nintendo signed Silicon Knights as a 2nd party developer. Now, the game’s development has been moved to the Xbox 360, according to EGM.

After ending its relationship with Nintendo, Silicon Knights entered into a publishing agreement with SEGA to publish SK’s next-gen game projects.

Yea... the game changed in like a massive way from like last gen to xbox 360. I saw the graphics and the plot in EGM and it's totally different then it is for the 360. I don't mean how good the graphics are but what they're like... like scenery...

Yeah, like xStereo said, the original plan, if I remember right, was for a different system, had graphics a lot worse than the amazing ones it has now, and had something to do with corporations and espionage (sorta like a certain sucky game?). I'ts COMPLETELY different now, it looks like. Even the gameplay seems to have been greatly overhauled.

good to see theres a company that doesnt lack the fund to overhaul a game sufficently enough unlike some developers(cough ea cough)

Same here. They have some acclaimed games, Like Beyond Good and Evil and some Metal Gear Solid games), but I guess they could be cult hits. It looks like Too Human will be their magnum opus. They said everything they'vve learned from making games and working with some VERY famous game designers whose Japanese names escape me (lol) is going int othis game.
