I got Final Fantasy XI today.

I still haven't played it...
I'm waiting for my brother to get home so I can use his credit card to start the free trial.
I hope I like it. I've heard alot of good things about it.

its an MMORPG you pay SE

and i played for a while but have since quit because i got boring after you maxed your cahracter level and all subs and almost all crafts...

ps2/pc i also played the beta on 360 thought and it was a joint account abotu three of us were playing i think it took like 250 actual man hours though

So, I'm waiting for a little while longer before I create my character.

I have my Apple Keyboard hooked up to it...and my 360 pulled out on a TV Tray, so the keyboard can reach further.
I'm really excited about this game.

I don't really have alot of expectation for it...
So, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

im confused and how do you expect voice to work when you are in an area with over 200 people walking around? and the reviews werent horrible and its one of the best selling games on PC, and people expected this to be something its not, the beta was a port from the PC/PS2 version, and everything has to be based off a generic system profile. So they couldnt make an uber great grphics for just the 360 gah :S

and i would personally if i could afford the extra money a month i would trade BF:2 for this BF was horrible just another port whos gameplay gets boring after a few hours

Well, I suppose you're right with the voice thing. Maybe they could make it an in-party ting or something; I don't know. Or privae chats; te 360's one-on-one chat is nice, but it wouldnt work when you've got a big party. And it would have been nice to make the game work on Xbox Live itself, wihtout a gigs-big program you have to slap on because they put comparatively little work into porting it.

PC players could use a team speak client, if they really wanted to.
But...You need a keyboard to play well, anyway...
So, I just assume type instead of talking...

I got scared when I read the reviews while the game was downloading and installing...
But. They definately don't do the game justice.
That's why I hate reviewers...
They focus too much on the "politics" of the game, rather the gameplay.

This game is really fun.
I love it, so far.

I just went with the Humar...
And...Standard Warrior class...

My first switch will probably be to Black Mage.

The reason I chose Hume, is because I don't know anything about the game...
And, they're the most well-rounded Race.

And, it's always fun to play a Warrior class.

so this the only Square Enix game were getting for XBOX 360

since sony preety much owns square who mergerd to make square-enix i would think so. i know square only made games for PS2 but they might have to renew a contract or something technical, but i believe that i wouldnt expect to see a lot of S-E games on 360
