I'm really excited about this game...
In fact...I've already reserved it.
I might have to put FFXI on hiatus when PSU comes out...
But, I think it will be worth it.

Looks like alot is changing from PSO to PSU...
And, that's a good thing.
A more in depth storyline for single player mode...
And the online mode starts at the end of the single player mode.
Interesting approach.

Phantasy Star Online was debuted on the Dreamcast the 1st year it came out.
It came out a few years later on the Xbox and the GCN with another part to the game and the original ported from the DC. It had really great graphics...And the gameplay was fun.

It's sort of like a futuristic dungeon crawler RPG.
VERY fun game.

Universe will probably be just as good...If not...BETTER.
The ability to dual wield any type of one handed weapon is awesome.
Think...A laser-uzi with a photon sword. fudging sweet.

Looks like the character editor for PSU will be alot more in depth than PSO.
I hope they took the Oblivion approach...with letting you detail every aspect of your character.

I pre-ordered PSU when I got FFXI.
I'm really excited about it.

Not exactly sure about that.
But, I don't think so, Medik.
The online play basically lets the single-player story go longer...
And, you can have up to 6(I think) people in your party.

But.
I hope it does end up being an MMO.
That would be awesome.
It will still be a good game, regardless.
