So recently PS3 games are being reviewed and are anything but impressive. Also, framerate issue seems to be the big problem. It was the problem with the Tony Hawk game, and now it is again with Call of Duty 3. While pretty much the games on PS3 are graphically identical, it doesn't seem that the system is being used correctly. So look at what Gamespot said when they reviewed the game for the PS3(btw the scores were for 360 8.8 and for the ps3 8.2).

"Call of Duty 3's visuals are great, though a problematic frame rate leaves the game looking decidedly less impressive than it does on the Xbox 360."

So anyway, I also read that the 360 version is running on 60fps while the ps3 version is 30fps. Not sure if that's true, but what is happening with the ps3? It is obviously too early to tell, but if the 360 doesn't win this gen, then I don't know what the world is on.

That is pretty sad... if true. I can't believe that Sony had their heads shoved so far up into the darkness that they thought these stats were going to win the next gen battle against the 360. On a side note... the Wii is frickin' rad! Such a cool system. I'm gonna get one for sure.

everyone knows that SONY have given up on the European market, and they are intending on winning in Japan only :phrank: , they overcharge in the US, so they can sell in Japan a lot cheaper, they don't really care about the US market, ONLY the Japanese, (anyone noticed it is a lot lot lot cheaper! :withstupid: ), they know the 360 has won practically everywhere over except Japan, and they are going to move in on the Japanese market, along with the Wii (the wii is aiming global however), because they know they have lost this console war! :shifty:

just sounds like typical sony to me. over promise and under deliver.

They probably have better games however coming out in better graphics, this is only there 1st wave :D

Again would you pay 600 for that or 300 for the 360 ^_^.

W00t! I hope Sony fails this console generation. They should stick to TVs and such IMO. And so far it looks like the PS3 might just fall afterall. :)
