BioShock Out Earlier: Toys “R” Us Breaks Street Date - Xbox

Several Toys “R” Us stores around the country put copies of BioShock on the shelves, a week before the release date.

So far, the street date was broken in Columbus, Ohio; Boca Raton, Florida and Portland, Oregon. The lucky gamers that managed to grab a copy of the game posted pictures in several forums, including ours, showing their copies of BioShock like hunters show their trophies:

It's also in Texas a couple Toys R Us there too. My friend called the store to see if they had it and they said they did. And I think the stores who let it out early get fined for their punishment.

il rent it but whats all the hype!! a game like Halo 3 is understandable, but a noob like BioShock getting all the respect and hype ? i really do have to play it

You can't really call BioShock a noob when it averages a 99 rating.

I agree 100%. I didn't think it was that great such as the score but thats just me.

Exactly, yes i know the reviews are really good and when i play it il probably think its good too, even though i don't really like that type of freakish FPS games. Still i think it is indeed overhyped and already going in the direction of vbeing overrated.

I'm going to rent bioshock instead of buying it, of course its going to be a great game but its only single player, and the single player game is estimated to be 20 hours which I can finish in less than 3 days. So its not worth my money to buy it.

Agreed. Game like that i never buy..just keep renting until finished, its saved me alot of money.
