August 17, 2007 - In its nine years, Pandemic Studios has made a name for itself with memorable action titles. Anyone who's played Mercenaries, Full Spectrum Warrior, or Destroy All Humans! knows Pandemic has a gift for creating intense action sequences in open worlds. Though the hype train is moving full steam ahead for Pandemic's next release, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, it's the developer's 2008 stealth game, Saboteur, that has us giddy.

Set during World War II, Saboteur stars Sean, an Irishman with a heart of gold and a blade of steel. Sean's a handsome rogue -- a womanizer and an adrenaline junkie -- who gets stuck in Paris when the Nazis invade. The Nazis are notorious party poopers, so, of course, bad things happen to Sean when the Germans come marching in. Seeking revenge, Sean wages a personal war against the Nazis throughout Paris.

Producer Phil Hong sets up the teaser trailer:

"Saboteur is a dark tale of revenge set in the seedy underground of Nazi-occupied France. This first teaser trailer is focused on just the personal motivations that push you on a path of vengeance against the men who destroyed everything you care about. We're also proud to give you a first visual glimpse of our 'Will to Fight' system - stay tuned for more details on that in the near future. (And for those of you that analyze every frame, there are a few other clues on the game tucked away inside this first teaser.) I don't know how I feel about ANOTHER WWII game... BUT this one sounds pretty sweet. I need more info for sure but it sounds like it's going to be different enough to make it. We shall see...
