The early reviews are pretty good, but like Blue Dragon it doesn't look like Eternal Sonata will be the amazing RPG MS hoped for that'd capture the Japanese market.

I played the demo for this game, apparently it got good ratings but it wasn't my type of game.

Blue Dragon just went platinum in Japan. I'd say that's pretty good.

I think though that was more because for Japanese 360 owners it was really their only option in the way of a 360 JP RPG.

Good point. Wasn't M$ attributing most of their recent Japanese 360 console sales to Blue Dragon?
