dude, seriously, if your looking for a good flight action game, this is the one. missions are so intense, its scary. its like cod4 arial. the variety in this game is crazy. when your briefing a mission it lets you know what your up against (air-to-air, air-to-ground, long range, air-to-ship). there are 15 authentic aircraft you can pilot in the game, +5 you can download. with authentic weapons for each. you use different aircraft and weapon combos for each mission. the targeting system in this game is superb. the sound is OUTSTANDING. youu'll want to raise the volume on your tv, when you land a plane or take off. so yeah you can land, takeoff, repair, rearm, and refuel your aircraft on land, sea, and midair. its also kinda like a simulator

downfalls: bgm, is horrible, and for some reason when you turn it off, you cant listen to fmv sequences. some of the voices are overdone, and annoying. drones, uavs and spy planes are annoying as hell. some missions can take hours to complete, and if you die or crash you have to restart from reeeaaaallllyyyy spread out checkpoints. unrealistic amount of onboard weapons.

anyways, get this game, its awesome. i might write a quick guide or overview to the games basics later this week.

I dont like games that involve flying or driving a vehicle usually, so its not for me.

I put this on my GameFly list. I loved Crimson Skies which was an arial combat game for the original Xbox and I loved it. I played AC4 on the PS2 but didn't like it because it was so hard. I plan on playing this one though. Is the multiplayer good?

yeah, the multiplayer is like the single player, just with a max of 16 people. but when i search for games theres onlly like 2 hosts in player matches so i guess this game isnt that popular. but the game that i played was pretty fun.

Demo was alright, i thought it was kinda confusing. Maybe I'll give it a rent. And if i like it that much I'll get it.

Yeah, I've had every Ace Combat game except for this one, I would buy it if I saw more people playing it. Military games interest me beyond belief
