i just got this game for christmas, and it is fun as hell! it sucks though because there are no respawns, 3 gametypes, and only 9 maps. but other than that its really fun. if you dont have this game, go to gamestop or eb games and buy it used for 20 bucks.

Shadowrun was awesome. But then everyone just stopped playing it and i never saw anyone on it so i traded it in .

It lasted until newer games came out. People just started playing those to hold them off until Halo 3. Then for some people Halo 3 held them off till CoD 4, Mass Effect, Kane and Lynch. Awesome games came out and Shadowrun, did go in the shadow.

I bought this game the day it came out. It was a lot of fun and I was in a clan. The main reason that I stopped playing is from the lack of developer support. They weren't going to update the game at all once it was released.

Well they did right when it came out, with a patch to fix the lag problems? But yeah that was it. But i didn't think they needed any updates i thought that game was awesome. Especially playing against Bots with friends when their on the hardest difficulty and the Trolls. Good times.

It didn't need updates, more like DLC. There were hardly any weapons and everyone used Elves.

I'd rather play Counterstrike.

Shadowrun was like Counter Strike minus the whole magic deal. I wouldn't say that everyone used Elves. I saw a lot of Trolls and Dwarfs (Sp?). It was the other race that wasn't used as much, the Humans you rarely see that many people using them. But thats boring who wants to play as a Human when you can be an Elf, Troll or Dwarf?

I liked being human because you got extra money to start off with.

Yeah and that extra money gave you just enough to get the good weapons and magic/tech and such. I would either play as an Elf or a Dwarf sometimes. I guess money didn't really matter to me whenever the match just started. But it's always best to buy magic or a tech first because it stays with you for the whole match, unlike weapons you lose them when you die.

I played the demo, some of my friends and I played it for a bit but after that Halo 3 came out and its alot better then Shadowrun.
