My Game of the Year?

Halo 3-

Although it hadn't lived up to the hype, it is still a helluva a game. Just a few minor issues, some dissapointments, and tough competition kept this from being the real game of the year.

X3E Game of the Year (So Far)-

Mass Effect

My GOTY would have to be Mass Effect, legendary BioWare didn't disappoint..they still have their KOTOR skills.

Remember to vote too btw. And yes Mass Effect was good, but as good as it may be, it had no MP whatsoever. Yes, I know it was supposed to be a single-player game, but if something doesn't have MP it'll die eventually.

My vote goes to Call of Duty 4. I was tough between this and rock band for because I can get all my friends and family who have never played a video game in their life and have a blast playing it.

Call of Duty 4 won because I know that I'll come back to it again and again until the next one where as Rock Band is more of a game thats fun with friends more than alone.

Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 were nothing more than the average shooter for me, nothing really that new. A few perks, wooooo. If they didn't have them, you mind as well play Call of Duty 2 or 3.

Halo 3 is good, but there where better games out this year, and right now I can't get enough of COD4s MP.

I'm leaning towards Mass Effect. Even though i love CoD 4 Mass Effect just has so much in it, it's worth a few playthroughs. CoD 4 MP is amazing too so i don't know, but i think I'll go with Mass Effect.

Normally I would be all like "Rock Band pwns" and all that; however, it is not exactly "game of the year" material. For me, it has to have an intricate storyline, something new, and make me want to come back to it. H3 and CoD4 were just nothing new to me. As much as I would <3 to lean towards Mass Effect, it looked like KOTOR so I didn't play it. That being said, my GoTY choice is...

(Drumroll)

Bioshock for intricate use of plasmids and the replay that you can kill your opponent with literaly anything.
