IGN: Lost Odyssey Preview

Articles quite long but it is alot more credible than anoops preview in december.

Overall impression from article:

"Lost Odyssey reminded me that there's nothing wrong with traditional JRPGs. They can, in fact, still be good with just some minor tweaks to the turn-based combat and with solid storytelling. If the final press of Lost Odyssey can iron out some of the technical issues and the last three discs build upon the excellent final two hours of Disc 1, then things may be looking up for fans of JRPGs. The first disc of Lost Odyssey doesn't launch it into the upper-echelon of classics such as FFVI, FFX or Chrono Trigger. But with so few RPGs available on 360, even "good" can prove satisfying."

"Lost Odyssey is set to hit North American store shelves on February 12. RPGs, and particularly those of Japanese origin, are rare for Xbox 360. So the arrive of Lost Odyssey certain has role-playing nuts a bit anxious. We've played the first disc and LO has promise."

I haven't played a JRPG since FFX. I'm so excited for this game its not even funny.
