When you buy themes and gamerpics, in the box on the confirm screen it says that they are not giving refunds. I personally think that this is dumb considering that you can not preview them first. I see where MS is coming from because it would cost them a lot more money to just do the refunds.

Themes can fit with this layout also, just like they do the blades. Each section gets it's own background picture, and you can change the text, and color of the bar behind the text.

Maybe they should give complimentary MS points to members that were here before the Update?

Cool, I can't wait. I actually like the avatars(I must be one of the few). Hopefully they'll implement it in future games, as long as they don't go overboard and only allow them to be used in games that are only cartoon characters like the Wii has(Wii Sports).

As for the people concerned about the money they've spent on the gamerpics and themes, I don't think they'll have anything to worry about. They're just pictures, so it should be relatively simple to implement them. Simply allow gamerpics instead of avatars, or have both. (I'm thinking they'll require an avatar, and allow you to have a screenshot of your avatar or a gamerpic on your gamercard.) As for themes, all they have to do is put a pic on each section /blade of the new interface, and/or use them in the new Guide, which is basically the original dashboard.

Well, like I said in the previous thread. This whole avatar system should be optional. Microsoft should condone both sales of Avatar Accessories and Gamerpictures alike. It'll pretty much double Microsoft's sales and keep everybody happy. Same thing goes with the themes. M$ should make themes compatible with this new dashboard as well.

Yeah, before I posted that update that gamerpics and themes will be compatible with the new dashboard, I had no idea that MS would do that.

Of course it was logical and smart. More things available to sell, more sales, and happier customers who love the idea of gamerpics over avatars or vice-versa.
