If you decline the update can you still play online? Id rather jump from a cliff then make an avatar tbh.

I'd rather have normal dashboard anyway. I like how it is now and I don't think it needs fixed. Burning games to your HD is a pretty sweet idea however.

You need to have an avatar, but you can still have your gamerpicture. And as they've stated before you need to get the update to play online. The closest thing you will get to the old dashboard is hitting the guide (which is a mini replica of the current dashboard) when the update is out.
