Sorry if i sound like i mean for it not to exist at all, if you want it - have it. But wow...using up quite alot of your hard drive to store a game you already have, kinda wasteful.

There is good things about having the game on your harddrive. Load times is one of the huge factors in it. I hate sitting waiting for my Fallout 3 to load, I have just enough room for one game on my harddrive this will be for Fallout 3 because large loading times will be cut in half when its on the HDD. This is not pointless. Also who wants to hear that damn annoying DVD ROM sipping so load? Not me.

I thought I wouldn't use the install feature, but it does make a big difference. Certain DVD drives are louder than others, and I believe I received one of the louder ones when I got my Xbox replaced, and the sound always bugs me. It also keeps your drive from getting worn out.
Loading was never a huge issue to me, but for some games there is a noticable difference in load times, especially free-roam games that have pop-up texture problems when played from the disk. Most of these texture problems are fixed by installing the game. I say if you have the space, it's definitely worth it. |

When you have the game in the disc drive go to the dashboard and go to My Xbox. Once you are there you should be able to press Y or X (one of those) and it will bring you to the menu where you install the game to your HDD.
I don't know if NXE has anything to do with this but sometimes i get randomly signed off Xbox Live, and then i can sign right back in and it even brings me back into the party i was in. |

The loading times are faster to be aswell but I keep getting random hiccups when I'm playing. Like I'll press the B button to bring up the pipboy, and instead of a seamless transition it sort of delays like it froze for a second or two.
